Barracks were home to 16 men per hut, 4 each in 4 cubicles.
Toilet and ablutions blocks were about 200 yards away.
The Mess hall was 400 yards away.
Washing and drying rooms were 200 yards away.

1st intake pucka 1956 Hut C11
Hut C 11 had a commn area initially holding 16 beds.
After the promotion of a Corporal and a Lance Corporal, their beds were moved into two separate rooms at the front of the huts.
Unlike the main part of the hut these rooms had lined ceilings.
The storeage space above these rooms was often used to hide contraband.
